Many excellent web resources on the Maldives do exist, but they suffer from one or more of the following problems...

• Incomplete information – I have yet to find a site that has all the information that you would want to know about a resort as well as every single resort included in the listing.
• Bias – Many web sites are put up for the primary purpose of selling holiday packages and therefore include only or bias in favour of the Maldive resorts in the operator portfolio.
• Fluff – Many sites include simply so much fluff about how astonishingly wonderful the resorts are, but frankly, most of the astonishing stuff is common to every place in the Maldives.

Technology - The webmaster has long worked for Microsoft and most of the tools used to construct the site were from the Microsoft stable including Visual Studio 2008, ASP.Net and Virtual Earth with the support of many top experts on the technology and design
